Novogradac is hiring Staff Accountant Interns for a summer 2027 internship program (June—July 2027). Position Summary This internship program exposes students to the work of a national CPA firm. Interns will participate in audit, tax, and research assignments, gaining hands‑on experience and learning how our firm supports clients. Responsibilities Complete tax and/or audit engagements under the direction of a supervisor or manager. Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements. Conduct business‑specific research, gather data, analyze results, compile reports, and make recommendations to principals and partners. Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow‑through. Assist with projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (degree earned is a plus). GPA of 3.20 or higher. Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course; preferably qualified to sit for the CPA exam. Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate, detail‑oriented work with strong organization and follow‑through. Ability to work under close supervision and adapt to constructive feedback. Ability to collaborate and foster a team‑oriented environment. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
