Job Title: 508 Tester (Accessibility Tester) Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Remote)
Duration : Fulltime
Clearance: Active IRS MBI Clearance (Preferred) Role: Section 508 Tester supports accessibility compliance efforts by evaluating applications and systems to ensure adherence to Section 508 standards and accessibility guidelines.
Responsibilities: - Perform accessibility testing of applications using automated and manual tools
- Identify and document accessibility issues based on Section 508 and WCAG standards
- Support remediation efforts by working with development teams
- Validate fixes and ensure compliance with accessibility requirements
- Prepare accessibility compliance reports and documentation
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to integrate accessibility into testing processes
Minimum Qualifications: - 3-5+ years of experience in accessibility testing or QA
- Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0/2.1 standards
- Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Axe, Wave)
Compensation The expected compensation range for this position is $84,000 - $125,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
