Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $52,000 to $62,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and recurring payables and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Manage credit card activity by reviewing statements and preparing reconciliations.
• Pull daily reports, assist with payroll related tasks, and help with commission payments when needed.
• Support general ledger reporting through data pulls and assist with annual vendor form preparation.
• Handle administrative tasks related to property transitions such as utility coordination and related updates.

• Ability to manage property related spreadsheets and assist with tenant related pass through information.
• Previous experience reviewing and maintaining vendor insurance records and supporting system updates.
• Familiarity with accounting or property management systems and willingness to assist with system changes.
• Strong attention to detail when performing administrative work and supporting office operations.
• Ability to greet visitors, answer calls, and assist with daily office needs in a small team environment.

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to organize data and use basic formulas.
• Ability to manage a high volume of filing and data entry work accurately in a fast moving environment.
• Previous experience with property management accounting.
• Knowledge of systems such as Yardi or MRI.
• Dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable starting the workday early.
