Overview
Physician-led orthopedic clinic seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant or Administrative Assistant with strong administrative skills. This role supports both patient care and front desk operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities can include

• Room patients, take vitals, assist provider (if applying for Medical Assistant)
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Coordinate referrals, imaging, and prior authorizations
• Enter orders and documentation in EHR
• Answer phones, manage messages, and follow up on tasks

Requirements

• Previous medical office or MA experience preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred
• EMR/EHR experience preferred
• MA certification preferred - if applying for Medical Assistant
• Understanding of insurance processes (authorizations, referrals, etc.) preferred
• Experience with referrals, orders, and authorizations preferred
• Understanding of insurances preferred
• Orthopedic experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a small team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (includes lunch break)
• Competitive salary (based on experience)
