Responsibilities: Perform accurate specimen collection, including blood draws and lab tests, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Record and update patient information accurately in electronic health records. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments in compliance with infection control standards. Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and provide exceptional patient care and education. Adhere to all clinical policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Support occupational health initiatives, including work-related injury assessments and documentation. Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to ensure clinic operations run smoothly. Required Skills: Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or Clinical Medical Assistant with strong lab drawing skills. Proficiency in specimen collection, blood draws, and basic clinical procedures. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a positive patient experience. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Basic understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in primary care, urgent care, or occupational health settings. Certification such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Familiarity with occupational health protocols and paperwork. Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program strongly preferred. At least 1-2 years of clinical medical assisting experience, especially with lab procedures. Prior experience in outpatient or clinic settings is advantageous. Other Requirements: Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. Flexibility to work during holiday closures on specified dates (closed on 5/26/26 and 7/3/26). Valid Medical Assistant certification or state licensure. Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform clinical procedures. Reliable transportation to the healthcare facility located in North Palm Beach, FL.
