About the Role: The Director of Corporate Affairs, Communications & Social Responsibility is responsible for leading the company's internal and external communications strategy and corporate social responsibility initiatives. This role ensures the brand is consistently represented with clarity, credibility, and purpose across all audiences, including team members, media, and the broader community. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this leader protects and elevates brand reputation, strengthens stakeholder trust, and embeds social impact into how the organization communicates and operates.
Responsibilities: - Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team while managing external agencies and cross-functional partnerships to ensure effective execution.
- Lead external communications strategy including public relations, media relations, awards submissions, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
- Oversee internal communications strategy, ensuring consistent, clear, and engaging messaging that aligns team members to company priorities, culture, and values.
- Develop and execute crisis communications and issues management strategies, ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-aligned responses to protect company reputation.
- Plan and execute internal corporate events and leadership forums, including company-wide meetings, training, and culture-building initiatives.
- Lead the development and execution of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy aligned to brand purpose and business objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership and the VP of Marketing to develop enterprise messaging, narratives, and spokesperson strategy.
- Oversee community engagement, philanthropic partnerships, and cause-related initiatives to strengthen brand trust and local impact.
- Integrate CSR initiatives into brand storytelling, internal engagement, and external communications to reinforce company values.
- Establish and track key performance indicators for communications and CSR efforts; measure effectiveness and communicate impact to stakeholders.
Job Requirements: - 10-12+ years of leadership experience across communications, PR, corporate affairs, or related functions
- Proven ability to manage brand reputation, crisis communications, and complex stakeholder environments
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate brand strategy into communications programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence
Preferred Requirements: - Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, or consumer-facing brands
- Experience leading corporate social responsibility or purpose-driven initiatives
- Strong analytical and insight-driven mindset
