Senior Electrical Engineer – Energy & Power Solutions

Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) U.S. Citizenship Required

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take on a leadership role within our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, collaborate directly with clients, and contribute to strategy, business development, and project execution across a diverse energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level electrical engineering staff
• Serve as a technical leader on energy and power projects
• Engage with clients to:
  • Evaluate energy needs
  • Develop concept-level solutions
  • Deliver detailed engineering designs
• Support full project lifecycle: Exploration → Development → Execution → Operation → Repowering/Retirement
• Provide advisory and engineering design services across multiple sectors
• Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales teams on strategic pursuits
• Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
• Anticipate challenges and proactively manage project risks
• Support large, multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of design and/or consulting experience
• Strong background in:
  • Power distribution systems and microgrids
  • Power generation
  • Medium and High Voltage substations
• Experience developing:
  • Design calculations
  • Construction drawings
  • Technical specifications
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools:
  • Revit
  • AutoCAD
  • CADWorx
  • NavisWorks
• Experience with power system modeling tools:
  • SKM Power Tools
  • ETAP (or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Experience with:
  • Renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal)
  • Energy storage systems
  • Protection & Control, SCADA, or power system automation
  • Campus utility master planning or decarbonization initiatives
  • Cogeneration / Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systems
  • Thermal utility systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)
