The Grounds/Maintenance Utility personnel is a non-exempt/hourly position that reports to the Director of Property Services. This position is a member of the AFSCME union, under the Property Services Employees master agreement. The Grounds/Maintenance Utility personnel at the Burlington School District work to provide a variety of maintenance and grounds services to meet the needs of the school district. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, reliable transportation and good time management skills. Preferred qualities include knowledge of operating power tools and equipment.
In addition to great health benefits and paid time off this full-time position starts at $17.00/hr - $18.50 hr based on experience. Hours for 1st shift positions are primarily 6:00am - 2:30pm. Hours and work location are subject to change at any time to reflect facility needs.
