Jr Product Designer - Brooklyn, NY Job Description We design and make physical products, not software or digital applications. The junior designer will work as a member of the design team on a variety of projects, including product research and development, creating product specifications, rendering, and packaging. You will collaborate independently and within the team to bring creative concepts to a corporate setting while developing technical and leadership skills. Job Tasks Product research and development, creating product specs, renderings, and packaging. Brainstorming new product and design ideas with the team and critiquing each other’s work. Creating mock‑ups of new products for customers. Assisting with design presentations for the sales and marketing teams. Co‑ordinating with other designers to ensure projects stay on track with timelines. Qualifications Completed degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Illustration. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (essential). Very strong organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under short deadlines. Self‑starter, proactive, and motivated. Extremely detail oriented. Creative problem‑solving skills. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Word. Comfortable commuting to Industry City in Brooklyn two times a week (Tuesday/Thursday).
