Landscape Architect / Project Manager

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Landscape Architect / Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of site development projects across a variety of sectors. This role combines creative design with technical execution and project leadership, guiding work from early concept through construction while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of landscape and site development projects from concept through construction
• Prepare and oversee production of site plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and construction documents
• Coordinate with civil engineers, planners, and other consultants to integrate landscape design with overall project goals
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and efficient execution
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, supporting communication and project coordination
• Navigate local codes, zoning requirements, and permitting processes
• Conduct site analysis and incorporate grading, drainage, and environmental considerations into design solutions
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and support team development
• Participate in construction administration, including site visits and coordination during implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
• Professional licensure or progress toward licensure preferred
• Experience managing projects within land development, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use environments
• Proficiency in design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software
• Strong understanding of site design principles, grading, and construction documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
