Landscape Architect / Designer

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a full-time Landscape Architect / Designer with 2–5 years of professional experience to join their team in Dallas. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across all phases of design, from concept through construction, within a collaborative, design-focused environment. The position includes involvement in project design, documentation, client interaction, and construction support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and design of projects from concept through construction
• Produce high-quality design graphics, including both hand drawings and digital visualizations
• Prepare construction document (CD) sets, including hardscape, planting, lighting, water features, and detailed construction drawings
• Assist in the development of specifications and bidding packages
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants throughout all project phases
• Contribute to project management efforts, including schedules, budgets, and coordination
• Participate in construction observation and implementation support
• Maintain communication with clients as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
• 2–5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or related field
• Strong design and graphic communication skills
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and implementation
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple project phases
• Capable of managing tasks to meet deadlines and budget requirements
