Lead Wedding Coordinator

Woodside Bible Church is seeking a warm, organized, and experienced Lead Wedding Coordinator to oversee the coordination of weddings at our Troy Campus. Working under the direction of the Care Ministry Coordinator, this role leads the Wedding Coordinator team and helps ensure couples and families receive excellent, compassionate care throughout the wedding planning process.

The Lead Wedding Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the Wedding Coordinator team, assigns coordinators to each wedding, provides ongoing support and problem-solving, and steps in when additional coverage is needed. This individual may also personally coordinate weddings and occasionally provide support to other Woodside campuses.

This is an on-call, as-needed position with no regularly scheduled weekly hours. Membership and active participation at Woodside Bible Church's Troy Campus are required.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support the Wedding Coordinator team, including assigning coordinators to approved weddings.
• Serve as the primary resource for coordinators and help resolve questions or challenges throughout the planning process.
• Ensure wedding requests, facility needs, and event details are accurately coordinated.
• Step in to provide coverage or personally coordinate weddings when needed.
• Guide couples through ceremony planning, timelines, rehearsals, and wedding-day logistics for assigned weddings.
• Coordinate with officiants, staff, technical teams, and other campuses to ensure weddings are executed with excellence.
• Ensure appropriate follow-up, documentation, and post-wedding responsibilities are completed.

• Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solution-oriented in a live event environment.
• Previous event or wedding coordination experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Woodside Bible Church and its ministries.
• Strong character, spiritual maturity, and alignment with Woodside's mission and values.
