Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: West Coxsackie, NY

Pay Range: $27.00-$29.00/hr

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday- 1st Shift 

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and facility equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Diagnose mechanical failures and execute repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Assemble and install new production equipment and facility machinery
• Fabricate repair parts utilizing machine shop tools such as welding equipment and lathes
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to OSHA guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout procedures

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED; technical school training is highly valued
• 1–3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
