About Share My Meals
Share My Meals (SMM) is an ambitious, mission- and goal-driven nonprofit addressing food insecurity and the environmental impact of food waste. Based in New Jersey, we recover healthy surplus meals and deliver them directly to local communities — turning excess into impact.
We are transitioning from a free recovery model to a cost-sharing partnership model to fuel sustainable growth and we want to deepen partnership with our corporate stakeholders. We’re looking for our next incredible teammate as our Manager of Outreach and Partnerships to drive this next phase.
The Role
This is a high-impact, revenue-generating position responsible for sourcing, pitching, and converting corporate meal donors into paid partners. The Manager of Outreach and Partnerships will onboard approximately 50 paying partners within 12 months across New Jersey, New York City and Pennsylvania — positioning Share My Meals as a strategic CSR partner as well as a service provider.
You will report to the Chief Operations Officer and play a central role in shaping our growth.
What You’ll Manage
Build and manage a pipeline sufficient to convert approximately 50 meal donation partners annually within our cost-sharing model
Lead sourcing and outreach, pitch meetings, and negotiations
Clearly articulate and sell our cost-sharing model and partnership value
Steward relationships with new and existing donors
Engage senior corporate stakeholders to deepen partnerships
Align donor CSR goals with meaningful engagement opportunities with Share My Meals
What You’ll Support
Collaborate with the Outreach Associate to match donors with nonprofit recipients aligned with Share My Meals’ operational and programmatic route parameters
Support corporate volunteer engagement efforts with Share My Meals’ development team
Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate program representation

Required Experience
5+ years in B2B sales or business development, with a demonstrated track record of prospecting, pitching, and closing (corporate-facing required)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) priorities
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Salesforce or CRM experience
Experience in nonprofit, sustainability, or impact-driven organizations

Reporting to: Chief Operations Officer
Job Type: Full Time
Compensation: $70,000, including a 401K matching program and generous PTO
Education: Bachelor’s (preferred)
License/Certification: Driver’s License and vehicle access (required)
Location: Employees must be based in New Jersey or New York City
Role Type: Hybrid, traveling 5-10 times per month throughout NJ and NYC
