Order Selector

PeopleReady of Dickson, TN is now hiring Order Selectors! As an Order Selector, you will pull and prepare orders for shipment.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18.00 - $18.50 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Order Selector:

  • Safely and accurately select customer orders

  • Build orders according to assigned load tickets

  • Shrink wrap and label completed orders

  • Transport completed orders to the warehouse loading dock

  • Accurately receive inbound products

  • Replenish stock and assist with inventory management as needed

  • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections

  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment within the warehouse

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including clearing debris and stacking empty pallets

Job requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous warehouse, order selecting, or distribution experience preferred

  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection and inventory handling

  • Basic math and reading skills for interpreting load tickets and labels

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment

  • Commitment to following safety procedures and workplace guidelines

  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work alternate shifts (1st or 2nd)

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Background check and drug screening required
