The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled PLC Programmers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and related control systems.
- Configure and integrate HMI/SCADA systems with PLC programs.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and calibration of control systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Document PLC programs, control system configurations, and operational procedures.
Recommended Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
- Proficient in industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and automation principles.
