Seeking hard working, reliable Ready-mix concrete drivers for Glover Honsador. Willingness to multi-task is important.

Safe work practices a must. Ready-mixed concrete experience preferred. Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) & benefits.

Duties:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles including concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other construction-related equipment to deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery schedules, and documentation to ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before departure.

• Coordinate with project managers and construction crews to confirm delivery times and site requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading concrete mixers, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Communicate effectively with team members, dispatchers, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for commercial vehicle operation.
• Must have at least (1) year commercial truck driving experience
• Active Medical Certificate
• Clean driving record
• Must pass FMCSA Drug/Alcohol screen
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, excavators, loaders, or paving machinery.
• Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and protocols.
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
