Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years School RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Recent hands-on experience with tracheostomy care (within the past year)
• Background in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educational staff, students, and families
• Ability to remain calm and adapt quickly in dynamic school environments
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of student care and confidentiality

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized health support, with a particular focus on tracheostomy care, throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to address the student's ongoing medical needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, observations, and interventions
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment to support the student’s educational and developmental goals
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student health plans and daily updates
