Job Description

Our client, an organization dedicated to environmental protection and community safety, is seeking a Seasonal Watercraft Inspector to join their team. As a Seasonal Watercraft Inspector, you will be part of the Lake Preservation Department supporting local water safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in safeguarding natural resources, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Seasonal Watercraft Inspector

Location: Chicog, WI

Pay Range: $13/hr

Shift: Flexible 4-8 hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, including mornings and afternoons, from May 1 to September 5.

What's the Job?

• Greet boaters and visitors at designated lakes to promote safety and compliance.
• Ask a few questions to boaters regarding watercraft and safety procedures.
• Perform boat inspections to prevent the spread of invasive species and ensure water safety regulations are met.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while engaging with the public.
• Support lake conservation efforts through diligent inspection and education.

What's Needed?

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Own a reliable phone and vehicle for transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours during the season.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Interest in environmental protection and community service.
