The Graduate Admissions Office is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Temporary Employee to support critical operational processes with the admissions system (SlateCRM). This position will process official transcripts, assist in documenting business requirements for our application process workflows, and support special projects related to data quality and system enhancements.
Customer Service: Reply to incoming prospective student/applicant emails in the SlateCRM.
Transcript Processing: Review and process incoming official transcripts for completeness and authenticity. Update application records accordingly and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines. Track and resolve discrepancies in transcript data.
Business Process Documentation: Assist in documenting current business requirements for the SlateCRM application system. Collaborate with team members in documenting standard operating procedures and best practices for graduate application processing.
Data Cleanup Projects: Conduct duplicate record identification and cleanup within the Slate application system. Assist with data validation and integrity checks as assigned. Support unit-wide projects to streamline and improve operational efficiency in Slate.
Positive attitude, demonstrating flexibility, and performance as a team player. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of reliability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good keyboarding skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Basic familiarity with data entry. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and interest in learning SlateCRM. Must be willing to sign a 'Statement of Confidentiality'. Submission of a resume is required.
Previous experience with student information systems or CRM tools. Background in business, information systems, higher education, or related field. Demonstrated interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.

Normal office environment. The position can be filled with a hybrid work schedule. The Graduate Admissions office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am 5:00pm. Position's Work Schedule: On-site: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Remote: Wednesday and Friday
