Traveling Finish Carpenter

Title: Traveling Finish Carpenter State: Colorado Reports to: Facilities Manager Supervises: N/A FLSA: Non-Exempt Department: Facilities and Maintenance Pay Range: $30.00- $40.00/Hourly Position Mission: Complete the final changes on trim and carpentry work for different construction projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications
• Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Collaborate with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment
• Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
• Completes other repairs as needed.
• Deals with interruptions and successfully manages multiple tasks.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company's values and standards.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (required for operating a company vehicle).
• Experience working in carpentry in the restaurant industry preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in finish carpentry is a must.
• Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule as dictated by the needs of the business
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with many interruptions. Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration are necessary for working on difficult projects, balancing numerous tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
• Works well under pressure and tight timelines
• The ability to work weekends and travel as needed. Travel potentially up to 90%
