Executive Agile Coach (Executive Level Product Transformation Coach)
Location: Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, or NYC, NY
Must be willing to work on site 3 days a week in one of the above locations
Duration: 12-24 months, likely to be long term and potential to convert FTE down the road
Interview process: 2 rounds via video
Target start date: ASAP
Must Haves:
- Executive level coaching from project to product-centric environments will be partnering with C-suite executives
- Experience working on product transformations
- Must be willing to work on site 3 days a week in one of the above locations
In this role, you will:
- Establish, lead, and guide organizations on the transition to healthy product discipline which embrace and exhibit the Agile mindset, practices and standards to deliver value to our customers
- Leverage and combine different industry standard scaling concepts to specific business problems that best supports scaled Agile values and principles
- Offer credible guidance to team process, structure work, create customer journeys, and start growth of scaling activities
- Assist leaders in considering complexity and long-term implications of transformation to self-governing teams
- Coach leaders on the delivery implications and the structure required to support the software
- Foster maturation of Agile behaviors and delivery concepts
- Provide strategic leadership on approaches to overcome impediments to accelerated delivery
- Collaborate with all levels of managers and steering committees across the enterprise
- Serve as an experienced advisor to the team with a focus on scaling Agile within the organization or line of business
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience in Agile Coaching, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years’ experience with Jira Align and Jira
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills
- Excellence in facilitating technical and non-technical groups
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in feature delivery in a technology environment leveraging a modern technology stack including cloud native applications and a robust DevOps pipeline
- Prior experience with project to product transformations
- Experience leading discussions with individuals at varying levels of the organization that result in a shared understanding and consensus on a path forward
- Ability to develop, deliver and mentor effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications (e.g., emails, presentation materials) applying appropriate level of content/ detail dependent upon audience and intent
- Demonstrated reasonable level of technical and business understanding to optimize credibility with teams and managers
- Works with all levels in the organization to teach and coach the product management principles and practices
- Demonstrable experience with Full stack automation (build, test, integration), cloud migration, API gateways, 1-click configuration

- Assist leaders in considering complexity and long-term implications of product based operating models through a transformational lense
- Provide strategic leadership on approaches to overcome impediments to accelerated delivery
- Serve as an experienced advisor to the team with a focus on scaling Agile within the organization or line of business by leveraging different industry standard best practices, that support Agile values and principles, specific to business problems
- Make decisions utilizing Agile metrics and a strategic perspective to show value of practicality in enabling planning, continuous improvement, and thoughtful data inspired decisions
- Ability and willingness to coach at a team, scaled and product level
- Familiarity with customer journey and value stream mapping
- Prior experience with project to product transformations
- Demonstrated reasonable level of technical and business understanding to optimize credibility with teams and managers
- Experience leading discussions with individuals at varying levels of the organization that result in a shared understanding and consensus on a path forward
