Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
Wound Care Physician to join our dynamic healthcare system in Northwest Missouri. This is a unique opportunity to work in a thriving clinic that serves as the primary wound care center for the region. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized care for patients with chronic wounds and other skin integrity issues
- Perform and oversee hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions
- Conduct minor office procedures and surgical debridements, both in the clinic and operating room
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic EMR
- Educate patients and families on wound management and preventative care
Qualifications: - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited specialty training program
- Additional training in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine is preferred but not required
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
