Job Description

About the Program and Role In 2026 we’ll be running paid relational organizing programs in states including Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Job Description Organizers will onboard, train, and manage a large group of paid Community Mobilizers (CMs) for statewide paid relational organizing programs. The CMs will spread the word about the upcoming election to their own friends and family. Organizers will help paid Community Mobilizers conduct 4-6 relational calls to action and numerous social media calls to action before the general election in November. Organizers report to Regional Organizing Directors (RODs). Responsibilities Recruit and onboard large groups of paid Community Mobilizers, conducting onboarding trainings for large audiences on app functionality, program objectives, and performance benchmarks. Recruit mentors for each new CM, maximize program referrals from the friends and family of the original participants, and complete phone, text, and other recruitment activities to meet training attendance benchmarks. Deliver a mix of automated, hand-generated, and person-to-person communications to increase completion of the program. Monitor daily phone bank benchmarks set by program leaders; follow-up with CMs to ensure all tasks are completed by payment deadlines. Enter and verify all participant data in a timely fashion to meet campaign-wide standards and ensure correct compensation. Use incentives and other tools to achieve maximum data entry and program completion. Triage program participants to determine direct communication timing for accountability. Verify that names submitted for compensation meet program requirements for base pay and bonuses each week. Review published materials and communicate any errors to the manager. Collect critical feedback on training materials from participants and provide that feedback to the manager. Implement campaign-wide feedback mechanisms for participants. Collect samples, anecdotes, video, photos and survey data at appropriate intervals to showcase program success. Collaborate with the manager to develop program assessment and improvement plans. Qualifications Strong time-management skills to balance onboarding, training, and management of a large group of program participants. Experience leading large-scale trainings and holding participants accountable for accurate and timely reporting. Ability to create a positive and safe work environment and adapt to campaign changes. Creative problem-solving to achieve the biggest possible scale of outreach. Additional consideration: existing relationships in key states (Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin) or fluency in a second language, including Spanish. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time, remote, salaried position available from May 18 2026 through November 10 2026 with a salary of $4,750 per month. The schedule is five days a week, Monday through Thursday, 12 pm – 8:30 pm ET or MT, with shortened hours on Fridays, and six days a week after Labor Day. We also work the full week before the November election. As a limited-term employee, you will receive health insurance and personal time per our employee handbook. Equal Opportunity Statement Empower Project is an equal-opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on age, sex, race, ethnicity, religion or sexual preference. Women, persons of color, and individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community are strongly encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr U.S. Bankruptcy Court - District of CT
